Although Lightbox Gallery has been an iconic part of Woking since 2007, its brand identity had become diluted, lacking confidence and distinction. Our rebrand introduced a clear system and flexible design architecture - bold enough to give the gallery presence, yet adaptable across print, digital, and social media. The result was a dynamic visual language that works seamlessly with diverse imagery, artist guidelines, and internal communications.

The website was designed and developed to feel fresh and type-led, with a visual identity inspired by the building’s colour palette. Beyond its look and feel, it plays a vital role in the gallery’s long-term sustainability, integrating with the CRM to create a seamless connection between visitors and the organisation, and driving donations and membership growth as an important alternative funding source amid public body funding uncertainty.

The new identity gave Lightbox Gallery the confidence to present itself with clarity and consistency. Clean and adaptable, the visual system reflects the gallery’s values and wide-ranging offer. It reinforces Lightbox’s role as a cultural cornerstone of Woking - inspiring creativity, supporting wellbeing, and delivering innovative learning programmes for families, schools, and adults.
