A Natural Story, Grown with Care

Founded by two Canada-trained naturopathic doctors, Caribbean Blue Naturals began as a kitchen experiment to create a gentle, natural insect repellent for their newborn son. That first product sparked a journey that has grown into one of Saint Lucia’s most trusted wellness brands. Nearly 30 years on, Caribbean Blue offers a full range of nature-based products, operates its own retail shop and airport kiosk, exports across the region, and remains proudly family-run.

The challenge

As the brand and product range expanded, the original packaging struggled to keep pace. Visually inconsistent and fragmented, the line lacked a clear identity, making it harder to build recognition, navigate on shelf, or scale for export. Though the products were effective and natural, the branding didn’t reflect their quality or the founders’ values.

The solution

We began with a strategic reset - creating a clear brand architecture to organise the product lines and unify the identity. From there, we developed a refreshed visual system that brought clarity, consistency and a stronger sense of purpose to the brand. The new design language, applied first to the Insect Repellent, Sunscreen, and After Sun ranges, combined natural cues with bold simplicity to better reflect the brand’s ethos and help it stand out in retail environments.

The outcome

The rebrand marked a turning point. Caribbean Blue now has a cohesive identity that supports growth and builds consumer trust. The company operates two retail outlets, supplies major resorts, and enjoys growing online sales from returning customers. The branding helped clarify focus and direction. Now celebrating 29 years in business, the brand continues to grow with the next generation involved and plans underway for expansion and export opportunities.
