For what feels like an age, the team have adapted to life at home. There have been many things we've missed: our beautiful studio, Bermondsey lunch spots, the coffee machine, but most of all, being in the midst of our talented team. As restrictions eased, it was finally time to get the gang back together again. And what better way to let off steam than at the driving range!

Bonding hours

Beautiful weather, city landscapes and fresh air is good for anyone. We kicked off the day on a high, with a spot of lunch and a couple of cold ones in the sunshine before hitting some balls at Greenwich Peninsula Golf Range. We think it’s important as an agency to do activities outside of our normal daily work; not only to reward the team for the hard work they do throughout the year, but also to help bring the team together. It’s natural to put your work face on while in the office, so getting outside breaks those personal barriers down. We believe our team is better for it…even if our golf skills aren’t.

Change of scenery

2020 was a difficult time for a lot of people. And we felt it as creatives. Gaining inspiration does not come from the same 4 walls. It comes from those small chinwags with people, visiting somewhere you’ve never been before, or having the best pizza you’ve ever tasted. Being out of the home/office gives the team the opportunity to be find new motivations, learn a new skill and have conversations about anything but ‘you’re on mute’. We needed this.

Sunsets to end all sunsets

Ending the day at the Trafalgar Tavern could not have been more idyllic. A few Hugo spritz later may have blurred a few memories, but the day was a triumph! Learning how the team have managed work while having new babies, puppies, small flats, bad internet, noisy neighbours, only gives us more admiration for all we’ve achieved in the last year.

A pleasure as always, until next time team!
